RULES & REGULATIONS
· Minimum age to participate is 12+. Participants below 18 years must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
· Participants should wear comfortable clothing suitable for the weather, along with full pants and covered shoes (no sandals/slippers).
· Participants must carry their own torch/flashlight, as lighting along the trail may be limited.
· Participants should carry a water bottle and use mosquito/insect repellent, as the walk is along the lake in the evening.
· Participants should report at the venue at least 15 minutes prior to the start time; latecomers may not be permitted to join for safety reasons.
· Silence and minimal noise should be maintained during the walk to avoid disturbing wildlife and to enhance the nature-viewing experience.
· Mobile phones should be kept on silent mode; loud talking, music, or use of speakers is not permitted during the walk.
· Flash photography is discouraged as it may startle nocturnal animals and birds.
· Participants must stay together as a group and follow the designated route along with the guide/naturalist at all times; wandering off the trail is not permitted.
· Participants should follow all rules and regulations of the zoo and cooperate with zoo officials and staff at all times.
· Entry into "No Entry" points/restricted zones is strictly prohibited. Participants should not venture near animal enclosures/cages without prior permission of the concerned official; the Zoo Authority is not responsible for any untoward risk or incident arising from violation of this rule.
· Participants must make their own arrangements for transportation to and from the venue.
· Participants are responsible for their personal belongings; items should not be left unattended. The Zoo Authority is not responsible for any loss.
· Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards zoo staff, other visitors, and the animals. Disruptive behaviour will not be permitted.
· Participants should make maximum use of the planned activities and maintain discipline throughout the walk.
· Participants with health conditions should inform organizers in advance, as the trail involves walking in low-light, uneven terrain.
· In case of adverse weather conditions, the walk may be postponed or cancelled at the organizer’s decision; participants will be informed accordingly.
